1. Rental Terms

⚠️ Important Notice

This agreement governs the rental of professional audio, video, lighting, and stage equipment. By renting equipment from Show Gear, you agree to these terms and conditions.

1.1 Rental Period

Rental period begins when equipment leaves our facility
Standard rental is 24 hours unless otherwise specified
Equipment must be returned by agreed time on return date
Late returns incur additional daily charges

1.2 Pickup and Delivery

Equipment can be picked up during business hours: Mon-Fri 9:00-18:00 EET
Delivery and setup services available for additional fee
Customer responsible for pickup/return transportation unless arranged otherwise
Advance notice required for all pickups and deliveries

2. Equipment Responsibility

2.1 Care and Custody

🚨 Renter Responsibilities:

Full responsibility for equipment from pickup to return
Liable for loss, theft, or damage during rental period
Must maintain equipment in good working condition
Immediate notification required for any damage or malfunction

2.2 Proper Use

Equipment must be used only for intended purposes
Follow all manufacturer guidelines and safety instructions
Only qualified personnel should operate complex equipment
Protect equipment from weather, moisture, and extreme conditions

3. Pricing and Payment

Full payment required before equipment release
Accepted: Bank transfer, card payment
Security deposit may be required
All prices in EUR including VAT

📊 Rate Structure

Daily rates for 24-hour periods
Weekly rates for 7+ day rentals
Volume discounts for large orders
Delivery/pickup fees additional

3.1 Additional Charges

Late Return: 50% of daily rate per day
Damage/Repair: Actual cost of repair or replacement
Cleaning: €25-50 for excessive cleaning required
Missing Items: Replacement cost plus handling fee

4. Insurance and Liability

📋 Insurance Requirements

Renter may be required to provide proof of public liability insurance
Minimum coverage: €1,000,000 for high-value equipment
Equipment must be covered against theft, loss, and accidental damage
Show Gear reserves right to require additional coverage

4.1 Limitation of Liability

Show Gear liability limited to equipment replacement value
Not liable for consequential or incidental damages
Maximum liability shall not exceed rental fee paid
Customer assumes all risks associated with equipment use

• Streaming and recording equipment

• Staging and platforms
• Backdrop and draping
• Power distribution
• Cables and accessories

6. Safety Requirements

All installations must comply with Estonian safety regulations
Electrical work must be performed by certified electricians
Structural mounting requires appropriate engineering approval
Safety equipment (chains, clamps) must be used as specified
Customer responsible for ensuring adequate venue power and access
